Lisbon: After a dry week rain is set to return to the capital at the weekend with both Saturday and Sunday forecast to be grey and wet with daily highs of 17 degrees and lows of 10 degrees. From Monday there are to be sunny spells but the showers are to continue with temperatures peaking at 17 degrees.

The north: Showers on Friday are to turn into heavy rain by the weekend with temperatures averaging highs of 15 degrees and lows of 10 degrees. The rain is to continue on Monday and Tuesday with it only due to ease up a little by Wednesday although it is to remain mild during the daytime.

The centre: Light showers are expected throughout the weekend in the Centre with temperatures averaging highs of 13 degrees and dropping to nightly lows of between 6 and 10 degrees. From Monday some sunny spells are forecast but the rain is to continue with average daily highs peaking at 14 degrees.

The south: Following a week of sunshine rain is to return on Saturday to the south however it will continue to feel warm with highs of 18 degrees and lows of 10 degrees. From Sunday the rain is to disappear again but there will be intermittent cloud cover and temperatures are to peak at 19 degrees.

Madeira: Intermittent sunshine and cloud cover is to continue over the weekend when temperatures are to peak at highs of 22 degrees and drop to lows of 16 degrees. From Monday the cloud cover is to ease slightly and the highest chance of rain is predicted for Tuesday.

The Azores: A mainly dry weekend is forecast with highs of 17 degrees and lows of 14 degrees. From Monday light showers are set to return again but accompanied by sunny spells with temperatures averaging daily highs of 17 degrees and nightly lows of 14 degrees.
