1.3 million people will receive a €200 payment this week to assist with the rising cost-of-living.

The lump sum payment will be paid on different days to different categories of individuals, including recipients of state pensions, jobseekers allowance, disability allowance, and carer’s allowance.
A further payment of €100 will be paid to child benefit recipients in June.
