“At the moment we don't know if TAP will be privatised, which consortium it will be privatised to, which members belong to that consortium, and, most importantly of all, if the hub will stay in Lisbon or if it will move to Madrid”, said party leader André Ventura.

André Ventura considered the possibility of the 'hub' being transferred to Spain "regrettable", as well as the fact that the first -minister, António Costa, admitted a total privatisation of TAP in parliament, during the debate on the party's motion of censure of the Government.

Ventura said that Chega delivered to the Assembly of the Republic a request “of extreme urgency”, for the Government to deliver, by the end of the week, all documentation related to the TAP privatisation process.
