Lisbon Metro closing early

In a statement, the company justifies the changes with the reduction in demand usually seen on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

Therefore, the service will close at 22:00 on December 24th (Sunday) and will resume operation at 08:00 on the 25th (Monday).

The Lisbon Metropolitan operates daily with four lines: Yellow (Rato—Odivelas), Green (Telheiras—Cais do Sodré), Blue (Reboleira—Santa Apolónia) and Red (Airport—São Sebastião).

Normally, the service operates between 06:30 and 01:00.

O Metro encerra às 22h na noite de consoada, dia 24 de dezembro.
No dia 25 de dezembro, todas as estações abrem às 08h.
