This year the event has olive oil as its “star product” and promises to showcase its traditional and more innovative uses, as well as the potential of liquid gold from Serra do Caldeirão.


São Brás de Alportel was once again present at the Lisbon Tourism Board (BTL), a space chosen to present the 2024 edition of Feira da Serra and announce the eagerly-awaited artists who will headline the musical lineup on the main stage!

David Carreira, Diogo Piçarra, Anjos and Bárbara Bandeira are the artists taking the main stage of the 2024 edition of the Feira da Serra de São Brás de Alportel, which continues to establish itself year after year as one of the reference events of the Algarve summer.

Between the 25th and 28th of July, the premises of the EB 2,3 Poeta Bernardo de Passos School, in the heart of the town of São Brás de Alportel, will once again transform into the greatest showcase of the best and most genuine things done, felt and tasted in the Algarve.

“The Feira da Serra de São Brás de Alportel is a true showcase of the best that São Brás de Alportel and the genuine Algarve has to offer throughout the year, both in terms of culture and flavours and traditional knowledge. We maintain our focus on a venue with a diverse and attractive offer for the whole family and with new features for new visitors and regular visitors”, explained the president of the Municipal Council of São Brás de Alportel, Vitor Guerreiro, highlighting that this is an event that values the entire Algarve.

Star Product

As president of the Feira da Serra Organising Committee, Marlene Guerreiro explained that this year, the event has olive oil as its “star product” and promises to showcase its traditional and more innovative uses as well as the potential of liquid gold from olive oil. Serra do Caldeirão.

“Maintaining quality is a point of honour for us! Feira da Serra is like olive oil: authenticity always comes to the fore! We are a guarantee of quality, safety and accessibility and we have an increasingly younger Fair, with almost three decades of history, and this is our biggest victory. Feeling that young people are committed to defending their identity”, highlighted Marlene Guerreiro.

The presentation of the main stage poster took place at the Lisbon Tourism Exchange, on the 1st when the Municipality announced another of its anchor events: the Festa das Torchas Floridas, which once again brings more colour and joy to the streets of the town of São Brás de Alportel on Easter Sunday.

Another highlight is the Serra do Caldeirão Gastronomic Fortnight which, between March 25th and April 7th, once again involves several restaurants in the municipality that prepare special menus inspired by the traditional flavours of São Brasense Easter.
