The National Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Meeting, an event organised by HD Algarve / American Motorcycles, in partnership with the Vila Real de Santo António City Council, is expected to have “more than 350 motorcyclists”.
“For two days, Monte Gordo will be the stage for moments of conviviality and motorcycling spirit, attracting not only national participants but also international visitors. The 2025 edition marks the return of the event to the Algarve, after the events in Albufeira and Vilamoura in 2018”, said the VRSA Chamber.
The event “includes test rides, group tours, concerts, slow-moving races and a large parade between Monte Gordo and the city of Vila Real de Santo António, promoting entertainment on the streets and direct contact with the population”.
“Holding the National Harley Davidson Motorcycle Meeting is an opportunity to reinforce the tourist attraction of Monte Gordo Beach and boost the local economy, during a weekend that promises to bring even more life to the coastal area”.
Once again the Algarve is completely of touch.
Bringing in hundreds of noisy polluting hooligans is the last thing we need here.

350 bikes arriving on different days at different times will have no effect on the environment.
People coming and spending money in Portuguese business's will provide a nice bump to the local economy.
So what's your problem?
