The districts of Faro, Évora, Setúbal, and Beja are already under a yellow warning due to the forecast of showers, sometimes heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms, between 12 pm and 9 pm today.
On Tuesday, between 12 pm and 9 pm, the 18 mainland districts will also be under a yellow warning due to rain, sometimes heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms.
Also, due to the heavy and persistent rain and the possibility of thunderstorms, the south coast and mountainous regions of Madeira Island will remain under a yellow warning until 12 pm today. The IPMA also issued a yellow warning for strong winds with gusts of up to 75 kilometres per hour for the southern coast of Madeira and up to 100 kilometres per hour for mountainous regions between 9 am and 6 pm on Tuesday, 28 October.
For the central group of the Azores (São Jorge, Faial, Pico, Terceira, and Graciosa), the IPMA issued a yellow warning until 9 am today, also due to forecasts of sometimes heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
The eastern group (São Miguel and Santa Maria) is under a yellow warning due to heavy rain until midnight on Tuesday.
