The Algarve circuit outside Portimão has once again been earmarked as a likely venue.
The current schedule features eight races, all in Europe, but the sport is hoping for a season of between 15 and 18 rounds.
A second race in Italy and Germany’s Hockenheim and Portugal’s Algarve circuit in Portimao are other likely possibilities.

This is irrelevent today with the proposed manufacture of all electric vehicles in the next few years , and there will be a massive reduction in all tourism for events like this , and the events themselves could trigger spikes in Covid-19 across the world .
