The increase translates into an additional three hours being paid per card each year, with the cost of a bank card at Caixa Geral now 18 euros, while Novo Banco customers will have 17 euros debited to their accounts every 12 months.


Millennium BCP and Santander Totta have stated that they have no plans to increase bank card annuities, while BPI has not yet made their position public.
