The rise in confirmed cases in Portugal represents a 24.5% increase in 24 hours.
Of the confirmed cases 156 have been hospitalised, with 35 being treated in intensive care units.
The number of suspected cases in the country has risen to 9,854, up by 27% since yesterday (20 March).
The number of confirmed cases in the north stands at 644, in Lisbon and Vale do Tejo 448, 137 in the central region, 31 in the Algarve, 5 in Madeira, 3 in the Alentejo and 3 in the Azores.
In total there have now been 12 deaths and five recoveries of the coronavirus in Portugal.

I need a information about Work . Nowadays situations are not good everywhere Coronavirus spread quickly.i am indian and I live in Alentejo I have TR of Portugal
I am work in Agriculture farm near Odemira .My Company said to me now I have no work for you .you go home for 15 days rest and then I will call you . I am continue work with this company 2017 to 2020 .his not response to me because before I bring the holidays 22/2/2020 to 18 /3/2020 . Day 19/3/2020 I will go to work and suddenly he said to me you go home return for 15 days and take a more rest because you’re ill .the next day Company says the 15 more persons going to home . I am very confused about that . Who pay the salery of these days
