The Glasgow-born multi-millionaire, 68, tied the knot in an intimate beach ceremony attended by friends and family in the exclusive Quinta do Lago area, on Saturday.
The traditional wedding ceremony was followed by a colourful Uzbek party on Sunday.
While the hotel and health spa tycoon dressed for the big day in a Scottish kilt, his Uzbekistan-born bride, 38, wore a delicately-embroidered, one-shouldered mermaid creation.
Without wanting to go into further detail, Natasha from wedding planners, Algarve Weddings and Blessings, who organised the beautiful event, told The Portugal News: “It was a lovely day with the couple surrounded by friends and family.”
The founder of the Bannatyne Group and author of seven books has close ties to the Algarve, where he has real estate investments.
