The strengthening decided will have a maximum amount of €3 million, the secretary of state for forests and rural development, Miguel Freitas, said in the order published in the state journal, with retroactive effect from mid-September.
The projects covered are financed under the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
This support will then be managed by the Permanent Forest Fund, which is a financial instrument aimed at achieving the objectives of the National Forest Strategy and other sectoral policy measures, the document added.

Why not give a website or government department or office contact so interested people can explore the opportunities and read about the objectives? I live at th3 centre if the 2017 forest fire destruction. We have recurved no help or funding for genuine diverse forest replanting.
