Tavira, Alcoutim, Loulé, Castro Marim and São Brás de Alportel are on a maximum advisory due to the likelihood of wildfires in the areas.
Fire-fighters in Silves, Portimão, Lagos and Aljezur have meanwhile been placed on red alert due to the threat of fires in these areas.
