More airport SEF inspectors for Brexit

Portugal’s Minister of Internal Affairs has announced that the number of SEF immigration and borders inspectors at Lisbon, Faro and Funchal airports will be reinforced as of April.

The reinforcement is part of a contingency plan for the United Kingdom's exit from the Union European Union.

Eduardo Cabrita told Members of the European Affairs Committee at a hearing on the impacts of the UK exit process that Lisbon airport will have 22 more inspectors, and Faro airport will have 10 more.
