The finding was made by Hotel and Restaurant Association AHRESP during a July survey among members.
More than 60 percent of bars and nightclubs also admitted to seeking insolvency during the current month. Overall, three-quarters of all bars and restaurants said they recorded losses of 40 percent in July, with one in six unable to pay salaries while a similar proportion said they made only partial payments.
Well, that is very sad. The owners can say thank you to their government. Portugal had the option of going the Swedish way or the current way. The decision was made and the price is to be paid.
