“We are investigating the contacts of positive cases of young people in the Setúbal and Lisbon area, following their stay, on 10 and 11 June, at the Galé campsite, with the Grândola Health Authority awaiting the result”, Fernanda Santos, responsible for the Public Health Authority of the Alentejo Coast, explained.

SIC Notícias reported that there are 20 infected people, some of them from the group of teenagers from Setúbal, Lisbon and Pinhal Novo, aged between 15 and 20, who were camping together on the holidays from 10 to 14 June.

“Today [24 June] we tested the 13 contacts close to the municipality of Grândola, which are in quarantine and awaiting the results of these tests, which, in principle, will be known tomorrow [Thursday]”, said Fernanda Santos, confirming the existence of 20 positive cases.

“These positive cases are all from outside, from Lisbon and Setúbal. The young people from Grândola who were at this party were tested and await results in quarantine”, she reinforced.
