The authorities intended to determine if there was a clause in The Fasta's contract with Juventus that obliged the Portuguese international to play at least 45 minutes of the game, held on 26 July, in Seoul, which ended in a three-all draw.

Ronaldo was on the bench, but did not play, because, according to Juventus, he had "muscle fatigue".

He also did not participate in an autograph session that was previously scheduled.

Many of the 66,000 spectators who watched the game, and paid up to 400,000 Won (€295) for tickets, felt cheated and are considering moving forward with complaints against Ronaldo and Juventus.

In protest, fans chanted the name of Argentinian Lionel Messi at the stadium and called for a boycott of Ronaldo-related products.

The Fasta has already shown its willingness to cooperate with the police "to clarify any suspicions" and announced that it has filed a complaint against Juventus, alleging breach of contract.
