Portugal’s visa-free rating, which is used to compile the index, is four points behind leaders Singapore.
Portugal is placed ahead of countries like New Zealand, Canada, Ireland and the United States, with the latter falling down the ranking since President Trump took office.
War-torn Afghanistan and Iraq are meanwhile bottom of the list of countries with the most valuable passports.

My Homeland is finally getting the recognition it deserves: besides having the fifth most powerful passport it is also rated as the fifth safest country,the fifth most beautiful country and the number one destination in Europe. Come and see for yourself why the world is raving about us. Obrigado!

From Canada --- Forca Portugal! With exception to all the fires Portugal it is a great and picturesque country. Portugal has been a hidden treasure within europe and in some way I would like for it to remain that way.
Accolades to the portuguese people who have managed to fight and persevere over their struggles over this last recession and hope they remain strong into the future.
