The “Jolly Boys” meet on Saturday mornings for coffee and a lot of banter and pay subs to cover costs of coffees and to add a few Euros to save for a worthy cause.

This week, following a direct appeal from Su Davis from Support for Families in the Algarve, we decided to dig a little deeper into our pockets and raised €130 to buy food from the local supermarkets which was delivered to the charity collection point in Silves car park.

Food and Donations can be taken to the Silves car park, near to the burger restaurant, on Mondays between 11.30am and 12.30pm. Everything donated is then taken to families that have no work and are without wages and are struggling to feed themselves and their children.
