The 15-year-old will be at the event on September 15 “to share her experience in the world of television and cinema during a Q&A panel and to take pictures and sign autographs for fans” by according to the organization of Comic Con Portugal in a statement released today.

Millie Bobby Brown made her acting debut in 2013 on the television series “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland”, after which she had small appearances on shows like “NCIS: Criminal Investigation”, “Grey's Anatomy” and “A Very Modern Family".

However it is her role as Eleven in "Stranger Things" that has seen her shoot to stardom and at only 13 she has already received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in an Emmy Drama Series.

The series, which dates back to the 1980s and refers to many cult films of that era, is a Netflix original, whose first season debuted in 2016. The second season premiered in October 2017 and the third in July this year. In two years, the series has garnered several nominations and awards.

Millie Bobby Brown, the youngest to be included in the list of the 100 most influential people in the world, made her feature film debut this year in Godzilla II: King of Monsters.

With nearly 30 million followers on Instagram, Millie Bobby Brown is also, since November 2018, the youngest ever UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

The 6th edition of Comic Con Portugal, a convention dedicated to entertainment and pop culture and will take place from 12 to 15 September at Passeio Marítimo de Algés, Oeiras.

This year, in addition to Millie Bobby Brown, many other industry names have been announced, including actress Tricia Helfer (who was part of the cast of the series "Battlestar Galactica"), actor Alexander Ludwig ("Vikings"), writers Richard Zimler and Filipe Faria, actor Joaquim de Almeida, comic book author Nuno Plati, director Bill Plympton, comic book illustrator and author Manuel Morgado, and graphic novel author Fabio Civitelli.

Daily ticket prices range from €20 to €30 if purchased until 31 August.
