Lisbon: Thermometers in the capital will peak at their hottest for the coming days this Saturday, the first day of September, when they will reach 34 degrees Celsius, before dropping to the high 20s, where they will stay for the rest of the coming week.
South: Even southern Portugal will feel noticeably cooler next week, when highs will stick at around the 28 degrees Celsius mark, nights will be cooler at around 17 degrees, and some cloud will move in. This weekend, Saturday will be hot, peaking at 33 degrees, before the mercury starts to drop.
North: This weekend will also be hot and sunny in northern Portugal, reaching 31 degrees Celsius on Saturday, before the cloud moves in and thermometers drop down to the low-to-mid 20s for the rest of the coming week, though still being sunny with scattered cloud.
