In the end, a final round 64 saw Hugo Santos move two shots clear of the field for a total of 133 over the two rounds and was also two shots ahead of veteran and 11 times national champion António Vitorinho.


After an eagle on the par 4 sixth hole, when he sent his second shot straight into the hole from a bunker after a monster drive, Hugo Santos stormed up the leaderboard in the back 9, scoring four birdies between holes number 12 and 17 on his way to a winning cheque of €1,000.
