Lisbon: From light showers and highs of 23 degrees on Friday, Lisbon will see its temperatures drop to the high teens and thunderstorms will dominate much of the weekend, particularly on Saturday, before brightening up again towards the middle of next week.
The South: Thunder, lightning, winds of up to 70km/h and heavy rain are what’s on the cards for the Algarve this weekend, with temperatures there also set to plunge by a good few degrees at least until next Wednesday.
The North: It seems like northern Portugal will emerge pretty unscathed this weekend, in comparison with the rest of the country, with just a few heavy showers and no major variations to temperatures forecast for the coming days.
