The company, which also recently announced new routes to Lisbon and Funchal airports from summer 2016, has confirmed that the new routes for the winter will be maintained.
Monarch Airlines, founded in 1968, operates from various UK airports and has been present at Faro airport for several years. This summer it will be increasing its number of flights to Portugal from the UK with three weekly flights to Lisbon from Birmingham, London Gatwick and Manchester and a further two flights a week from Manchester to Funchal.
The growing customer demand for flights to Portugal has led to the company strengthening its number of routes to the country
both during the summer and the winter according to a spokesman from the company.
