More than 100 Portuguese wine producers will be attending the show, the third largest in Portugal, which will once again be held in the multipurpose space of Albufeira (EMA) during the first weekend of May.

Over 900 different wines will be available at the show for tasting and more than 10,000 people are expected to attend the event.

In addition to tasting the wines, visitors can also participate in workshops, attend the presentation of the Algarve Wine Route and watch show cooking demonstrations.

More than 20 Algarve producers are appearing at the show with three producers from Albufeira represented: Adega do Cantor, Quinta do Canhoto and Quinta da Malaca.

Carlos Oliveira, Chancellor of the Confraria Bacchus de Albufeira said: "The origin of wine in Portugal began in the Algarve, where wines are distinguished by contact with the sea breeze. The Algarve wine is affirming itself for quality, combining the destination of sun and sea with gastronomy and creating an alternative itinerary for wine lovers”.
