Yellow weather warnings in Portugal

The districts of Setúbal, Évora, Beja, Portalegre and Faro will be under yellow warning today, 14 April, due to heavy downpours, announced the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).

According to the information released by the IPMA, the districts of Beja and Faro will be under this warning between 6am today and 00:00 on Wednesday.

The yellow warning for the districts of Setúbal, Évora and Portalegre is in effect between 11am and 10pm today.

For the five districts, the forecast is "downpours, sometimes strong", and hail, accompanied by thunderstorms.

The yellow warning is issued by the IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities depending on the weather situation.
