Algarve under orange warning due to sea turmoil on the south coast

The Algarve is under an orange warning by the Portuguese Met Office until 6pm today

The Algarve is under an orange warning by the Portuguese Met Office until 6pm today, due to the forecast of south-east waves measuring up to 3.5 meters along the south coast, «especially in the west». The IPMA warning is also due to the existence of "conditions for the occurrence of a cross sea". It will be downgraded to yellow level at 6pm and remains in place until 12 noon tomorrow.
