About a week ago, Lisbon City Council announced in a note sent to newsrooms that, from 1 July, the city's vaccination centres would be open from 8am to 10pm, including weekends.

In the statement, the City Council of Lisbon indicates that, in the last week, 46,174 vaccines against Covid-19 were given in vaccination centres in the capital.

“The expansion of the availability of vaccination centres and the opening of unmarked schedules for people over 50 years of age is intended to respond to the foreseeable increase in the rate of vaccination to up to 65 thousand doses per week in the municipality of Lisbon”, explains the municipality.
