“The project – whose hotel sector is the first in the country with a multidisciplinary concept and openly directed towards the musical component – ​​results from an investment of €8 million (which had funding under the Norte 2020 Programme) and will have a soft opening in August with an official inauguration in September,” said a statement sent to Lusa.

Covering a total area of ​​5,000 square metres, the M.Ou.Co. comprises of a total of 62 rooms, a restaurant, a concert hall and a music library, where visitors will have the opportunity to discover the collection of vinyl records and books in this unique space.

The project also has three rehearsal rooms, an innovative space dedicated to the musician’s health and also outdoor garden areas, swimming pool, bar and terrace.

Another highlight is the Sala M.Ou.Co., a multifaceted space, with a flexible stage, natural light and direct access to the outside and with a capacity for 300 people (standing) or 180 people (sitting).

“At the M.Ou.Co. it will be possible to find the perfect combination of “comfort food” – inspired by traditional Portuguese cuisine – but always with a touch of innovation and creativity”, the statement concludes.
