Some would say this is a mad brain idea that I’m about to suggest, but I do not. Most people die in hospital, most hospitals are cash strapped, so wouldn’t it make sense for hospitals to have their own cremation facility within the hospital. I don’t mean building a crematorium, I mean using the furnace facility they already have, or expanding it, upgrading it, whatever.
Funerals are a part of life which I personally and others think to be extremely expensive and quite frankly an outrageous amount of money.
I’m dead so I don’t need a beautiful wooden silk lined box covered in flowers, then to be driven to my cremation in a nice shiny ole jalopy.
Hospitals have a chapel for prayer, so maybe close family could gather there to say goodbye before heading off for that much needed drink to numb the brain.
I for one would feel really grateful to be able to give something back to the hospital and the amazing doctors and nurses who’d cared for me, ok its not everyones cup of tea, lots would be horrified, but just think how much revenue it would bring in for the hospital, you never know the healthcare workers might even get paid a decent wage for their sacrifice to joe public.
Also I would like to say a big fat thank you to all at the Centro de Saúdes, the Covid tents, anyone connected to sticking vaccination needles in us, and especially our lovely vampires at Fisbolar Lagos for their efficiency and kind considerate attitude.
PS. I agree with the speed camera another revenue maker but get rid of them damn lolly pop sticks that cause the emergency services a nightmare. How many lives have been lost because these vehicles are held up.
No offence intended.
