Lisbon: Rain showers are expected on Saturday but this is to clear on Sunday when temperatures are to peak at 18 degrees with nightly lows of 6 degrees. Monday is to also be dry but intermittent showers are to return on Tuesday and for the rest of the week, with temperatures averaging highs of 17 degrees.

The north: Heavy periods of rain are expected on Saturday while Sunday is to be mainly dry and bright with highs of 16 degrees. The rain is to return in force on Tuesday and is to remain for the rest of the week with temperatures averaging daily highs of 14 degrees and nightly lows of 4 degrees.

The centre: There will be a chance of rain on both days of the weekend with temperatures averaging highs of 12 degrees and lows of 3 degrees. Monday is to be mainly bright but from Tuesday the chance of rain is to increase again with thermometers peaking at 15 degrees and dropping to lows of 5 degrees.

The south: Intermittent sunshine is forecast for Saturday with the cloud cover increasing on Sunday for a grey day with a chance of rain and highs of 18 degrees. The rest of the week is to be mainly dry with a chance of rain and temperatures averaging highs of 19 degrees and nightly lows of 9 degrees.

Madeira: Intermittent cloud cover is predicted for the entire weekend with temperatures averaging highs of 20 degrees and nightly lows of 15 degrees. The cloud cover is to decrease slightly from Monday and temperatures are to rise to highs of 22 degrees with lows of 15 degrees.

The Azores: The weekend is to be mainly dry with a chance of rain and daily highs of 18 degrees. From Monday there will be regular rain showers although it will remain mild with highs of 18 degrees and lows of 11 degrees.
