Quartararo, who started from fifth position on the grid, took command of the race on the third of 25 laps, finishing with a time of 41.39.611 minutes, beating fellow countryman Johann Zarco (Ducati) by 5.409 seconds and Spaniard Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia), who was third, at 0.659.
