Most infections have been reported to date in Lisbon and Vale do Tejo, but there are also cases in the North and Algarve regions.

"All confirmed infections are in men between the ages of 20 and 61, with the majority under the age of 40," the report said.

The new cases were confirmed by the National Institute of Health Doctor Ricardo Jorge (INSA). According to the DGS, the identified cases remain under clinical follow-up and are stable.
