Nine districts of mainland Portugal will be under a yellow weather
warning on Wednesday and Thursday due to the forecast of persistent high maximum
temperatures, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the
Atmosphere (IPMA).

The districts of Vila Real, Bragança, Viseu, Guarda, Castelo
Branco, Portalegre, Évora, Beja and Faro will be under a yellow warning between
09:00 on Wednesday and 17:00 on Thursday due to hot weather.
In the district of Faro, the yellow warning starts from
09:00 today.
The IPMA will raise the yellow warning to orange in the
districts of Bragança and Guarda between 09:00 on Thursday and 06:00 on Friday
because of the hot weather.
