According to a report by Dinheiro Vivo, one of the fundamental contributions to this performance came from Mateus Rosé, "the jewel in the crown" of the company, who once again presented "the best results of the last three decades", growing more than 9%.

In total, 23 million bottles were sold throughout the year, two million more than in the previous one, equating to more than two bottles being sold every three seconds.

With the war in Ukraine and the suspension of sales to Russia, expectations for 2022 point to a volume equal to that of 2021. "The fact that we did not sell a single box to Russia in 2022 was difficult, but the growth of other markets, namely Portugal, will compensate for the loss of volume in Russia", believes Sogrape administrator Raquel Seabra.

Sold in more than 100 countries, Mateus Rosé has its biggest market in the United Kingdom, where 3.6 million bottles were sold last year, followed by Portugal, with three million.
