According to the ANA website, the last plane to land on the island of Madeira was a Transavia aircraft from Amsterdam, after 09:30.

Cancelled at 14:00 are a TAP flight from Lisbon, one from Azores Airlines from Ponta Delgada, and another from Transavia from Orly, Paris.

Several planes from easyJet, British Airways, TUI Airways, Ryanair, and Jet2 from the English airports of Bristol, Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, and Stansted, have all been diverted.

Jet 2 planes from Edinburgh and Glasgow, Avion Express from Vilnius, and SunClass from Helsinki and Copenhagen also had to look for other destinations.

Of the scheduled arrivals, six planes are on the island of Porto Santo, two went to Tenerife (Canary Islands), with other aircraft going to Lisbon, Porto, and Ponta Delgada, in the Azores.
