Despite Ajax and PSV having been eliminated, Portugal's climb to sixth place in the UEFA ranking remains difficult.

Portugal still has three Portuguese teams in the competition (Benfica, FC Porto and Sporting), but the only possibility of reaching sixth place in the UEFA ranking remains difficult, taking into account being 2,584 points away from the Netherlands.
The Dutch remain in fifth place, with two teams still in the competition Feyenoord (in the Europa League) and AZ Alkmaar (in the Conference League).
