The national drug authority (Infarmed) has ordered the immediate suspension of a batch of Sirdalud muscle relaxant due to the detection of out-of-specification values in a dissolution test.

The companies Novartis Farma and Sandoz Farmacêutica will carry out the voluntary collection of batch KDF58 of the medicine Sirdalud MR 6mg, tizanidine, modified release capsules, according to Infarmed.
Infarmed warns entities that have this batch of medicine in stock not to sell, dispense or administer it, and to instead return it.
