Nestled within its premises are 25-holiday homes, each with its own roof terrace providing breathtaking views of the nature reserve of Lagoa dos Salgados and the ocean. On the horizon, you can catch a glimpse of the high-rise buildings of Armação de Pêra. Amidst this picturesque setting, the characteristic restaurant of Quinta da Saudade stands as a testament to family values and culinary excellence.

Wonderful family business

Led by Joselia Santos and her son Simão Santos, this restaurant is a wonderful family business. Following the passing of Joselia's husband last year, she and her son have committed themselves to continuing his life's work.

Joselia oversees the wait staff while Simão takes charge of the kitchen. The restaurant itself is adorned with photos of Joselia's late husband, and the walls are adorned with drawings of their grandchildren, a source of immense pride for Joselia.

The menu at Quinta da Saudade offers a variety of options, including fish, meat dishes, and a vegan option.

The main dishes range in price from 19 euros to 45 euros, catering to different budgets and preferences.

To start our culinary journey, we indulged in the bruschetta, shrimp, and vegetable soup.
