Portugal is the fifth country in the European Union (EU) with the lowest productivity per working hour, according to data compiled and released by Pordata.
The data refers to 2022 and reveals that in Portugal labour productivity was 66.7, whereas in 1995 this indicator was 68.6.
"Ireland, Luxembourg and Denmark are the EU27 countries that create the most wealth per hour of work", adds Pordata.
Ireland's index is 216.4, Luxembourg's is 176.6 and Denmark's is 139.2.
On the opposite side, Bulgaria, Greece and Latvia are the countries with the lowest productivity per working hour, with the indicator at 53.9, 55.3 and 65.1, respectively.
Compared to many countries it should have a negative rating People are paid to ignore clients and are doing them a favour by serving them , and everything stops for lunch time as the hops close at lunchtime when the boss leaves because he doesn't trust his employee's what a sick nation of lazy, envious, distrustful, corrupt people, not all some ten percent are left to try and make up for the useless majority!.

I think we live in different worlds not just different countries. In the North, almost without exception people are friendly, hard working and honorable. Best decision of my life to move here.
