Saturday’s games began at Selhurst Park as a Kevin de Bruyne brace helped Manchester City beat Crystal Palace 2-4.

Brentford came back from 2-0 down to draw 3-3 with Aston Villa at Villa Park. Unai Emery’s side are now fifth in the Premier League table.

Everton relieved some of their pressure in the relegation battle as they beat Burnley 1-0 at Goodison Park. Dominic Calvert-Lewin was on the scoresheet for the Blues.

Bruno Guimarães scored a late winner in Newcastle United’s 0-1 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Carlton Morris scored a 90th minute winner as Luton Town beat AFC Bournemouth 2-1 at Kenilworth Road.

Wolves could not hold on after Pablo Sarabia’s penalty opened the scoring, however goals from Lucas Paqueta and James Ward-Prowse gave West Ham a 1-2 victory at Molineux.

Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard were on target for Arsenal as they beat Brighton and Hove Albion 0-3 at the Amex Stadium.

A Mo Salah penalty rescued a point for Liverpool as they drew 2-2 with Manchester United at Old Trafford. Two wonderful strikes from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo gave United a 2-1 lead. Liverpool now go 2nd after the draw.

A late Oli McBurnie goal gave Sheffield United a vital 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Bramall Lane. The Blades remain nine points off safety – however they have a game in hand over their relegation rivals.

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur took a huge step towards Champions League qualification as they beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs are now 4th in the league following results over the weekend.
