The president of the Azorean airline SATA, Teresa Gonçalves, has resigned from her position for "personal reasons", the Regional Government announced today.

"The Regional Government of the Azores informs that Doctor Teresa Gonçalves has requested her resignation from the position of president of the board of directors of SATA Holding, citing personal reasons", says the Azorean executive (PSD/CDS-PP/PPM) in a press release.
Teresa Gonçalves took office as president of SATA (a group that includes SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines) in April 2023, after the departure of Luís Rodrigues to lead TAP.
