Diesel, the most widely used fuel in Portugal, is expected to drop by one cent, while petrol prices are expected to remain unchanged, according to data from the ACP (Automóvel Club de Portugal).

When you fill up, you should now pay €1.543 per litre for regular diesel and €1.701 per litre for regular 95-grade petrol, taking into account the average prices charged at the pumps on Monday, as released by the Directorate-General of Energy and Geology (DGEG).

This week, diesel fell 1.9 cents and petrol fell 0.6 cents. The market had predicted a two-cent drop in diesel and a half-cent in gasoline.
