Algarve Pro Racing’s #20 Oreca-Gibson, driven by Kriton Lendoudis, Alex Quinn, and Olli Caldwell, entered the 4 Hours of Portimão Race leading with 91 points in the LMP2 Pro/Am Teams Championship, holding a nine-point advantage over AO by TF’s “Spike the Dragons” 82 points.
APR is a Portuguese Le Mans Prototype 2 racing team competing internationally in the LMP2 Pro/Am class, which features closed-cockpit prototype cars built for multi-hour endurance races.
In the third hour of the race, the APR car was forced into the garage after making contact with No. 63 Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, costing APR several laps, eventually putting them in the tail of the LMP2 Pro/Am field.
APR finished 15th overall and 8th in its class, completing 131 laps. The LMP2 Pro/Am title went to AO by TF, driven by PJ Hyett, Dane Cameron, and Louis Delétraz, leaving APR second in the final Teams’ Championship.
The Portimão race concluded the six-round 2025 ELMS season, marking another strong campaign for APR despite losing the championship in the finale.
