On this tour, we begin at Praça Luís de Camões, an emblematic meeting point between Chiado and Bairro Alto. The square honours Luís de Camões, author of Os Lusíadas, and is always full of life, street artists, and visitors.

Walking through the historic streets, we arrive at the vibrant Rua Cor-de-Rosa (Pink Street), known for its pink pavement and lively atmosphere, especially at night. Formerly frequented by sailors and entertainment venues, today it is one of the most photographed places in the city.

The tour ends at the majestic Padrão dos Descobrimentos (Monument to the Discoveries) in Belém, a monument dedicated to the Portuguese navigators of the Age of Discoveries. An interesting fact is that the original monument was built in 1940 for an exhibition and was temporary. The stone version we see today was only inaugurated in 1960, to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the death of Prince Henry the Navigator.
