Analysis of returnees in Portugal was negative

Analyzes of citizens repatriated to Portugal who arrived in Lisbon on Sunday, 2 February from China were tested negative for the coronavirus, informed the General Directorate of Health (DGS).

"DGS informs that the laboratory tests carried out by INSA [Instituto Ricardo Jorge] were all negative", he indicates.

In the same note, DGS says that citizens "will continue to be accompanied by two doctors from Sanidade Internacional, who will guarantee active surveillance twice a day and will always be available for contact".

The 20 repatriated citizens, 18 Portuguese and two Brazilians, were put in dedicated institutions at the Pulido Valente Hospital (Centro Hospitalar de Lisboa Norte) and at the Parque da Saúde de Lisboa, where they will remain in prophylactic isolation for 14 days.

Your frenzy about the coronavirus flu is feeding the schisofrenia that has taken over the Western governments and media affecting people returning from China! This flu appears to be no worse than a normal flu! Over the last year about 8,200 US citizens died from the normal flu. With a population of only 320 million compared to China 1.4 billion, the US number is “just” 48,000 percent higher than the 170 deaths attributted to this particular strain of coronavirus! But nobody sees the same rush to quarantine people coming from the United States!
