According to the INE, the consumer confidence (as calculated in surveys on individuals) is due to the “positive contribution of the outlook for the development of unemployment and to the negative contribution of the remaining components, balance of outlooks relative to the development of the country’s economic situation, the financial situation of households and of savings.” TPN/Lusa
