These recommendations are contained in a proposal for next year’s state budget which has already been approved by the government.
Homes with good views and which maximise solar exposure could be subject to an increase in council tax rates of up to 20 percent.
On the other hand, houses facing cemeteries or are north-facing and are at the bottom floors of an apartment block could see a drop in council tax of up to 10 percent.
So if one side of your house is facing South it means that the other side is facing North. Also, what happens if you have a round house? How do you define a good view? If you own the land and keep it very nice does it mean you get taxed for keeping it nice? I despair at the logic and the lengths some governments go to for extra tax.

What Numpty thought this up, who is going to decide what is or is not a good view. What is defined as South facing how many degrees either side of South are they talking about or is it directly South.
I expect a new department will be set up employing 5000 odd people to manage it.
Cannot believe the government have already approved it.
Come on someone get real.
