Pinto has been under house arrest since April during which he was prohibited from accessing the Internet. Rui Pinto is to stand trial on September 4 at the Central Criminal Court in Lisbon on a total of 90 counts.

It’s about time we stop treating whistleblowers as criminals! It’s a good thing for all the dirt to come out into the public eye so we can see the political class and the so called celebrities for what they really are!

How can he be charged on 90 counts when he is a whistleblower? He should be protected not hounded!
