After carrying out “numerous investigations” and with the “collaboration of the French police authorities”, the PJ stated that it proceeded to “locate a minor of 14 years of age in the town of Mountauban, in France (between Toulouse and Bordeaux)”, according to a press release.

According to the PJ, the minor was absent from his grandmother's residence in Chaves “since 19 July”.

The teenager will soon be handed over to parents who “went to France for that purpose”, the statement adds.
